CBT is an evidence based therapy which I have used successfully with symptoms such as depression, low mood, stress, low self-esteem, poor sleep, generalised anxiety, health anxiety, obsessive compulsive disorder, panic disorder, post traumatic stress disorder, social anxiety and specific phobias.

I continue to focus on my ongoing professional development having recently completed training in CBT complimentary therapies including Mindfulness and Acceptance and Commitment therapy (ACT).  This gives me additional skills and tools to share with you.

I have a specialist interest and training in working with people whose mood is affected by the complications of a physical health problem for example: Pain, chronic fatigue, irritable bowl syndrome, diabetes, heart disease, lung conditions, cancer.

There is a growing concern about the impacts our demanding lifestyles have on our bodies with an increase in problems such as fatigue and chronic pain, most of which there is no medical explanation for and therefore very little medical support available. I offer support with the psychological impact these life changing problems have and work towards an improvement in the quality of life despite the impacts of the condition.
